Chaos Cats Unleashed

Last week, the Spring 2024 Games Now! game jam took place, and our game Chaos Cats was among the 21 submissions for the jam. The jam's theme was "Messing" and for many jammers, their minds went to various pets messing up the house - as did ours. And so, the Chaos Cats was born.

Chaos Cats is a two-player local multiplayer game where you take the roles of two cats messing up the house. You throw and push objects around both to score points and to hinder your opponent. At the end, the one to unleash the most chaos will be crowned the winner. As it often is with game jam games, the game is on the "short and sweet" side of things, but we are quite proud on what we managed to achieve in the limited time available and hope that you have a fun moment with our creation. The game can be played in a browser and is also available for download on Windows.

We are also glad to announce that we will keep on working on the game, first to polish some rough edges typical to game jam games and add some features that we didn't quite manage to squeeze in during the jam. And then possibly something completely new we perhaps only briefly dreamt of doing during the jam. So, follow this space if you are interested in staying up to date on how the game evolves in the coming weeks.
